Flats near the channels. Look for stumps and other cover near deep water. 89 bridge, dix creek, gold creek

Catch and release or eating them, you can fish just about any where and catch them, the fall bite is alot like the spring bite.

Yep but some places produce better than others, even this time of year. I have been bass fishing lake conway for 20 yrs and this has been my observation. You can also try the point at Greens lake. Top waters early and late. Worms and spinners throughout the day. JMO

As have I, since 1979, if a person is looking for bass the right size for eating, run the shore line with a crankbait and rattle trap, if you are looking for bragging right type fish then most definetly, CMJ is spot on with his information. but look at some of the same cypress trees you crappie fish for a good shot a a sure enuff good bass. Big worms and jigs around the cypress trees, and topwater around the lily pads, open shore line work with fast moving baits. The fall bite on Conway is exciting with a crankbait, strike king 2.5 square bills are a hot bait. Chartruese 1/4 ounce spinnerbaits will get them around the pads as well.

Great info. I reread your first post and realized you were agreeing with me. I'm an idiot.

I like the southern end of the lake this time of year. 89 Bridge bay, Paradise and the arkla camp site banks. Black Buss bait, any type of medium quality crank baits like Guru described. But If you want a bragger my choice would be a big dark colored TX rigged worm or creature bait in the trees like Guru said. Thats where the Big ones live. The only time I would leave the trees for the bank especially right now for big bass is at NIGHT!!! THROW THAT BIG BLADED BLACK BUZZ BAIT, TX RIGGED DARK COLORED worm OR cRAW SOFT PLASTIC TOWARDS DEEP BANKS, DOCKS, LAYDOWNS ALONG THE BANK, AND HOLD ON FOR POSSIBLY THE BIGGEST BASS THUMP OF YOUR LIFE. fOR ME nIGHT tIME IS THE BEST tIME DURING THE SUMMER, EARLY FALL. ON CONWAY... pAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO BANKS WITH LIGHTS ON THEM TOO.

Yes nimrod that used to be a hotspot, but over the year word has gotten out, and also the deterioration of the timber in the lake has rendered that area kinda weathered, once in a while you can find fish there still but it's on rare occasions now. It seems like that bite has moved further south down the lake now and days. There is a few still there but nothing like the days of old. The game and fish has really let the lake go as far as bass the last several years. Back in the late 70's and most of the 80's was when Conway was in its prime when it came to big bass.
