Default How much can you take?

Okay, so i'm out on lake X today(thanks BRM!) fishing with my son. We were tied to a tree when this guy comes blowing past us wide open. He's like 20 yards away. My son asks me what that was about and i guessed that he was testing out his motor because he kept looking back at it. So he gets about 50 yards away and then he TURNS AROUND and blows past me again! He did this two more times before i finally untied and headed for the boat ramp. When he saw this he headed for it too and cut me off. I just bit my tongue and used it as an opportunity to give my son a lesson in respect and humility. So my question is, how many times do you let him fly past you before you hurl your paddle as he goes by?

You did right C.M.J. You have way more patience in that situation that I would have. You did right by your boy and that's the right thing. If you would of argued with that idiot he would of just drug you down to his level and beat you with experience.

It's always better to suffer for doing RIGHT than to suffer for doing EVIL.
You son saw you do Right, that's all that matters

In your son's eyes, you passed the humility test. Can be tough to do, but you did it, congrats.

It does get easier if your required to pass the test often. Remember what was said, "YOU can't fix stupid"!

Thanks for the support. This is getting pretty common on this particular lake.
