Farmers wanted it, now they don't, Fishermen didn't want it, now they do... I guess the Lord knows whats best, and we'll take it however it comes. But me, I'm praying for some rain. Sorry ya'll that ain't.

I agree with you, THE LORD knows best and no doubt we are going to get rain and maybe a lot. Those of us that raise fruit we need it badly. In farming it is almost always too much or too little of rain, heat or cold. I say let it rain and we will harvest later.
Maybe Lake Nimrod will have time to recover before the camp meeting and the real fishermen will probably adjust to the rise in wateranyway (Not that I'm that good).
It now appears that by Sunday/Monday, every lake in Arkansas, and the River, will be 25 feet high...............for who knows how long....
i hope ya'll get all you need cause ya'll need it ,but i hope all stays safe with only the water needed and no damage to anyone or anything!!!!
Roughneck, what kind of fruit do you grow? Peaches are about the only one I know much about.
It's as easy for me in high water to not catch fish as low water. Gonna have a great time anyway. Hope the harvest is not damaged by the rain.
