Default Crappie Guide on Lake Quachita

Hey y'all fine folks, headed to Lake Quachita in late September... Can anyone recommend a good Crappie Guide for Lake Quachita. I'm finding lots of striper guides, just no crappie guides.

    Thanks!!!

I don't know of any crappie guides on Ouachita anymore. The striper and black bass guides are fairly easy to find but not crappie. It you don't mind driving over to Lake Greeson you can give Jerry Blake a call. He runs Action Fishing Adventures guide service and comes highly recommended.

Some of Jerry's associates might know something about Ouachita.

Hugh Albright (Allbright?) guides for crappie on Ouachita. He's a very good guide and is a lot of fun.

Hugh doesn't guide anymore. He and his wife now own and run a little store and diner about 1/2 mile from my house.

If you're close, don't miss out on eating at the Home Plate just out of Hot Springs Village. Good eats at good prices.

Stripers need catching too if you can't find the crappie.

I'm gonna go with Darryl Morris from Family Fishing Trips. Never been on a guided fishing trip before, so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks again for all the information (especially the 'where to eat')!

Good luck and have a great time in Arkansas. I don't think you'll be disappointed with your choice of a guide.
