Default Ozark Trolling rods did the trick yesterday.....

Eased over the bridge into MS yesterday and caught some really nice fish. We ended with 21 keepers with 2.64 being the big fish. Used my new 14ft Ozark Rods for the first time and I have found the rods for me!! They have a light tip action similar to the Capps and Coleman's with the backbone of the PST's. Thank you Donald Blakley for taking care of me on the rods and you guys don't hesitate to call him if u are interested in some. Here are a few pics from yesterday.

Nice bunch of slabs!! And you didn't even have to use Purple/Chart. Southern Pro Umbrella Tubes with an unpainted 1/8 jighead shoved "inside", on pallet beds, with no nibbles or "minners"!!! Go figure..........

    Awesome catch!!

I give credit where it's due and that was a good one Nimrod. Those crappie were so fat they look like they are full of eggs. I've never seen em look so healthy and fat this time of year.
