Default Good news but still very dangerous: Lake Conway report!

Well it's time we get some good news about Lake Conway, it finally rained enough to make some difference on the lake level, I can say this for a change Lake Conway finally rose a little rather than fall. Due to a nice 2" rain Sunday night lake Conway rose about 8". But it still has along way to go before it is safe to run the boat lanes at any kind of speed. The lake is about a 1-1/2 foot low now, every lit bit of rain seams to help. Please continue to use caution while navigating Lake Conway. We need more and more rain. If we don't get some much needed rains, the crappie will not make their annual run up the CReeks this fall. This will break a lot of people's hearts if the cant catch them up the creeks. They are so easy to catch in the fall up the creeks. But no water means everyone will have to fish the main lake. This will add a whole nother level of difficulty to catching crappie on Conway.

Talked to the in-laws and they said it had come up some. We could sure use a rain over here.
