Hi, In my boat we use the 11 quart Cool Bubbles Minnow buckets. They come with a pump and stone that will run 130 hours on 2 D batteries. I took it one step further and mounted a 12 volt Double Bubbles air pump in my boat and have a tubing coming out front and back of my stick steering boat. The Double Bubbles come with 2-1 way valves to attach to the end of the tubings coming from the 12 volt Double Bubbles.
This way you can run them off the battery pack or pull the tubing off the battery pack on the bucket and plug the tube into the 1 way valve on the end of the tubing coming from the 12 volt pump. Went today with 1 lb of minnows in my bucket! Never lost a one. Here is a couple pics how I have my bucket in my boat.

I use a bilge pump with a livewell aereator nozzle on the end of a 3/4" hose, placed in a cooler for moving my trotline bait. Haven't lost a slick since I started using it.

Do a search I have seen a many post on guys building there own from coolers. The one I liked was made from a Gatorade Round cooler that has the spicket on it. I don't have one but if did that would be the one I would make.

A frabil minner bucket with the built in areator is all you need, on occasion drop a ice cube or two in the bucket to keep the water cooled off and you will have no problems, just dont let your 12 ounce beverages get hot trying to keep your minners alive if ya know what I mean. that would be a tragedy.

I bought a Frabil bubbler that runs on 2 D batteries, 12v, and with a 110v cell phone car charger converter. I also got one of those things at Grizzly Jigs that you run in the drain hole of an ice chest. I use a 50qt cooler and plug in the bubbler where ever I go. Runs almost 2 days on the D batteries, but will run forever on a cranking battery, or the 110v converter. I leave mine running all day long in the boat and while charging my boat batteries at night. You can keep 3lbs of minners in it easy. I do use Better Bait, and a bit of ice to keep my minners cool. I even kept my tourney fish alive in it last month at Enid. We used another one just like it in the motel room on the converter to keep the other 3lbs of minners we had.
