Sorry for your loss Russ. I know what your going through. 2 months ago ,mine of 14 years passed. My wife of 22 years and I never had kids and our pets are our family and kids. I have had a dog by my side my whole life and will always. Sorry again.

Sorry for your loss CrappiePro. I have one about that size myself and he is the ultimate fishing buddy. I'm sure you made many memories on the water with Petey.

Sorry for your loss. They sure do become part of the family. My wife & I both love our dog. His name is Petey also.

Sorry to hear about Petey, Russ. I've been through that more than once, and know how hard it is. It's like losing a family member to me. Think of the good times and remember them often.

So sorry for you. This made me pick up my old dog and give her some extra pets. Time helps the healing but we always remember them fondly.

Petey was a very loveable dog, he loved being on my lap, laying on his side flapping his front paws begging for pets...greeting us when we come home, resting at my bed side, howling along with us as we sing happy birthday to a loved one, rolling over for his treats, traveling and going fishing in my boat. So sad to see him leave us. We loved Petey so very much. I have not been able to turn the sudden tears off. Man it Hurt's... Thank's agian for all your condolences they are a great help.
