Bite slowin down ?

Got back over to nimrod today, first time I've got to fish in a few weeks, the bite was much slower for us today just never could seem to get in em good, did however managed 32 10-12 inchers , no pics today just to tired to mess with it, did see a few crappie.comers out as well, nimrod, slabbandit,& conway, anybody else have any luck?

Kena's nephew and I worked to catch 20 Catfish. We had a couple good ones break off. We went way up river this afternoon to canoe and wade fish but it was lower than I've ever seen it. Caught a few small Spotted Bass and Green Sunfish. No wonder lake fishing slowing , water in river above the lake extremely hot and just a trickle of flow. I did jig fish on Wendsday in the lake. I kept a limit and released a few more keepers. Not many Crappie over 12 '' and expect it to slow even more as the extreme heat returning!

Good Job Greg 32 10-12 inchers is a good mess and ill bet you could have finished that limit out with some 9 inchers if ya wanted to. HAHA!!!

I'm with Greg on that, rather stop short than keep em short. I may have to start calling them Russ fish. Someone needs to thin em down here. The Banditt can't do it alone! Rofl

Better catch all you can Brenda's classic zebco 33, lighten rod comb and I are coming to NIMROD in a couple weeks.We are going to put a stop to that great crappie bite.The huge crappie better hide her zebco and her Red/Chart 1/8 oz Roadrunneris no match for the huge crappie in nimrod. She only has one (all she needs) she says don,t need all that fancy tackle GPS,SIDE FINDER,PURPLE/CHART NIMROD SPECIAL and 11' jiggin pole.So take warning the crappie bite is fixing to be over!!!!!!! on Lake Nimrod!!!!!
