    Default Slow fishing

Got back early from vacation with high hopes of catching some specks. Went to the river and fished till 1100. To say the bite was slow would be an over rated statement. It was non existent for me. I fished shallow and mid depths to 20 ft and not a bite. I pulled cranks and pushed jigs with no luck. The water temp was 90 degrees and hardly any other boats out fishing. Hope everyone else is doing better. Tight lines

Higher water temps and lower oxygen ,levels can hurt fishing. Also here fish must be following Shad , cause they seem to be here today gone tomarrow. Can be a hunting game to stay on them.

Most of what I've seen is the fish are roving. Had a bunch found on the sonar. Went back just a few days later and they were gone, however ole wpt 8 has had fish on it ever single time. Wpt 8 and I have become close friends.

I didn't think of that. I bet I had left mine set on simulator. I knew there too many fish on that sonar.

Reminds me of the goofy guy that drinks coffee at the local greasy spoon every morning. Told us his depth finder did not work. Then said depth was messed up but showed fish everywhere that would not bite. Asked us to look at it and set it. Boat was in the parking lot and showed 25' deep. We told him it was that far down to water. He had it set on similator mode.RoflRofl
