windy day on Nimrod

Went to lake nimrod friday about 4 oclock. Jake and I fished till dark. The wind kept us off the south side. coul nt fish any of my best spots. We only kept 14 fish, all over 10". Sorry no picts., it was too dark by the time we got home. First time I fished in the afternoon,wasnt as good as the morning trips. Mabe just because the wind blew so hard.

Could have been the wind with 109 temps Friday! I took the Arkansas Democrat reporter James Joslin to do a story Friday. Man it was hot with no shade! We fished for Cats with limited results then Crappie. Took most of the day to catch my limit of Crappie over 10 '' jig fishing. Took a boat ride to cool off. Water temps showed anywhere from 90 on main lake top 97 in Sunlight Bay! Today looked windy but was not as hot. Rested today and not sure I'll go tomarrow.
