David (Blue Thunder) and myself went across the MS river to Lake Lee this morning. We had planned to pull some crankbaits after catching a few with the spider rig but the crankbait bite was too slow (no luck after 30 minutes) and we went back to pushing jigs. We found them pretty deep and left'em biting at 2:15 with 75 good keepers in the box. I think we threw back around 15 or so. The wind was perfect...the sun wasn't too hot or bright with mostly cloud cover...and the bite was great once you found what they wanted and how they wanted it. It just doesn't get much better than that!!!! I think David got some pics of us catching fish....maybe he will post them later. Oh yea, we saw lots of old friends and fellow Crappie.comers out there today which made the day even better!!
From the ARK-LA-MISS Delta....... Crappie Paradise ! ! ! !
