Default New jigs from RCC worked like a charm on LEE!!

I went to Lake Lee this morning. I used one of RCC's willow blade spinners on one rod and it really held it's own! I caught many Crappie on it and the Gar actually left it alone today. I was using a BG Baby Shad in the "baby crawfish" color fishing 15 ft deep in 20-22 FOW trolling fairly fast. Actually the only problem I had with Randal's jig was that when the fish hit it they usually SWALLOWED it making it a but more complicated when there were multiple fish on. But it performed like a champ and I wouldn't think twice abou rigging up every rod with'em to give'em a real good thumpin'!!! I used a 1/16 round leadhead jighead on the other rods and wound up with 50 keepers by 12:40. There wasn't what I would consider a slab in the bunch. Size this year on Lee is not as good as it usually is with more throwbacks but they were still decent fish.

Them '' Blind Sow baits ''are catching on. Glad you used em and did good. RCC might be on to something.

I've had the same thing happen when I fished them. If you go back to the first crappie pic I posted, you can just see the spinner hangin out. I suppose there is no resistance from a lead weight, and they suck those rascals down like they intend to eat it. That actually works well for those of us who can't see the bite as good as the pro fishermen on here. I'm working on version 2 for the jiggers and slow trollers. Haven't actually tried it yet, but in my mind I think it will work.

Thanks for taking the risk and trying them Steve.

By the way, the name Blind Sow bait may be too long. How about just abbreviating?

Nice ones from Lake Lee, hadn't had a chance to fish it this year.
