Question Beaver Lake end of July??

Hey guys I am lucky enough to have married into a family who has a cabin on Beaver, in Ventris Cove. We will be down there at the end of July and begining of August, right before I have to go back to Kansas and teach squirrely 5th graders. We have a dock and a small boat with a tiny trolling motor. I tend to fish for about anything and am wanting to know what tips, techniques, areas, and lures you all have used to catch some fish (any species really).

    Thanks in advance.

(Beaver Lake is my favorite vacation spot)

Well, it's a beautiful lake. I'm sure there's fish in it somewhere but I sure haven't found them! Yesterday I was able to catch a brim and someone's lost lure that's it. Better get a guide. Lol course it may be that I caught some of RCC s black mojo he left behind!

Thanks for the info! I am excited to go down there even if I struggle on the water.

Ya, I still enjoyed trying something different. I have caught fish there years ago. Next time I thing I'll try the southern end of the lake.

Best bets in that clear of water would be night fishing under lights with minnows. Are the docks lighted? Might consider scattering a bag of sweet feed off the dock and try Catfishing with Chicken or Turkey liver.
