Default Pepa la Pew is up graded to blind sow.

There are no skunks fishing with me. Took a little effort but Ski Trip just got up graded a notch. Even blind sows can find a few acorns as they say. Here are a few photos from this morning. I'll let him fill in the details later.

Xring : It was awful windy, east winds are rough here as you know. Ski trip caught most of the big ones this morning and shook off the skunk CP saddled him with. Thanks for the company this past week to you and Ski trip on our fishing trips. Hope you and your sis have a safe trip . Holler if we can help in any way. Looking forward to fishing with you and Ski trip again. Maybe we can all fish together real soon.

I just had to share a few more photos with you guys from a great day on Nimrod with Nimrod chasing whisker fish. Met up with him at 5:00 a.m. at the ramp and was visited by X-Ring who was camped over there this week. We launched and went to one of Nimrod's honey holes before sun-up. Steve 48 was right, there are some great sunrises on Lake Nimrod. We got into'em pretty good right away, despite an early East wind that kept getting worse all morning. We wound up with two limits of pretty good fish, some real good ones. We had the boat loaded and were leaving the ramp by 9:00 o'clock, which was a good thing because by the time we left we had some pretty good rollers coming in. I did manage to avoid another skunk, although Nimrod caught 3 or 4, just "Wham, wham, wham" right after he dropped the anchor, and I thought, "Oh no, not again!" I landed a smaller one a few minutes later and then hooked into one that I liked to have never got to the top of the water, but boy was he a dandy! I can't keep up with Nimrod, but I did manage to hold my own and not embarrass myself! This guy is phenomenal when it comes to fishing Lake Nimrod. He really puts the time in to make it that way, it's no accident. If you ever get a chance to catfish or crappie fish with Nimrod, jump on it because it's a lot of fun, and he'll see to it that you have a great time. Thanks, C. A. for another great day on the water, my friend! And Don, it was good to finally meet you and I hope we can meet up over there very soon and team up on those catfish and crappie.

Dang, I'd be proud to have a line of fish like that even setting lines, much less with a rod and reel.

HAHA!!! Nice Catch but a Monkey with a foot ball can catch em on Nimrod...Ill bet I could take Ole PePe to Nimrod too and catch a mess of crappie or cat's... You pick? and I wont need to know where baited holes are or pallets are to catch em. Take a risk CA, Take Pepe to the Plumberville Cutoff and catch a mess of crappie right now and I'll really be impressed. PEPE can get ya in there and he's been fishing it for years. LMBO

I would not bet on it unless you trawl as Xring says. I'd like to see you catch a mess (limit) of Cats . I figure if the Crappie are in the cutoff , with a little time I could catch some without trawl'n.
