Default Started Off Bad Day on Nimrod

First time out in my boat since last year. Although I had ran my motor at the house a few weeks ago, it wouldn't start. Graph wouldn't come on, and we had to troll across the lake to our spot with a weak battery. Picked up a few fish here and there, A couple decent cats also. Tried the graph several times and it finally came on! Tried the big motor and it fired up! A breeze came up, cloud cover rolled in, birds started singing and so on!
Started hitting several spots and met a nice gentleman from up around Mt. Magazine. Drifted along and visited with him for quite a while and exchange some fishing tackle.

CrappieKeeper and I took "Abbie" along on this trip and she found her a cool place to rest!

Here's our catch from yesterday...not a full limit but we had some decent fish.

Caught a few more today than yesterday and had a little bit better size. Came in, worked on boat trailer bunks at the ramp and came home. Iced the fish down, going to clean 'em after a shower and an afternoon "Power Nap". Stay cool everyone and drink plenty of fluids!

Still like the 'ole boat. Would just like to have a new 4 stroke, side imaging unit, and a 24 volt trolling motor. The 12 volt 50 thrust used one that I bought works good, especially in the wind but apparently thrust doesn't necessarily mean that much more speed. Yea, it's definately time to update.
    Nice catch by the way!!

Hi Al, Thanks but I really think I want to fix up my old rig with a 4-stroke 40 Tilt/Trim and a few other new toys.
