Well I was told you can fillet them dudes and fry em up making them better. I tried, and you just can't hardly get all the little bones out, won't be doing that again.

Maybe a few lakes need stocking but if spawning habitat present no stocking needed for Crappie. Trout is put and take mostly, as far as I'm conscerned they can take em and shove them up their @#$%.

Maybe they ain't all that bad fried, I have some in my freezer right now. I just don't see myself pulling them out when there's better things to eat like; crappie, catfish, drum, gar, eel, cactus, skunk... You get the idea.

RoflI'll agree with Nimrod more brush in the lakes will probably benefit the white perch about as well as more stocking. Some of these lakes just don't have much in the way of brush and while some lakes may have had brush in the past an older lake's brush all falls down and then it needs new brush in it's place. We need a fence row project, condo's, boo-buckets, ect. There's always some brush that needs cutting down and the little extra time it takes to tie rock on one end and toss it in the lake would be well worth it.

Well i'll help if i can. The electric company is trimming around power lines around here right now. So there's plenty of brush to be had. They will leave it for you as long as you pick it up within a day or two.
