Default Adams lake conway ar 6-26-12

Though I read crappie.com everyday I very rarely post anything. I just get a huge kick out of my fellow fishing friends enjoying their time in the beautiful outdoors of Arkansas. Well it's my time to post and finally a decent trip, pretty much missed spring crappie with work schedule, so with a day off in June, I figured i would go to a spot that I haven't been to in 4 years. Rather than the Gold Creek area and the Old Lawrence Landing Area, I decided on this free morning I would go to the other side of the lake, Adam's landing. I am one of those guys that can remember when there used to be a real boat dock there...not telling my age..lol. Well them big bull bluegill are still there. I had a blast. in the water at 6am and back home at 11:50.

Nice PIC"S and nice mess of fish, I too can remember when there was a Bait shop and boat dock at Adams Lake < I cant remember the guy's name who ran it but I remember him as being retired Military. I wonder what ever happened to him he was a nice guy and had his bait shop right in the middle of where the parking lot is now and lived in the house right up the hill next to the parking lot. Anyway's welcome back to the board and join right in were a laugh a minute on here. I would love to see a pic of all the fish caught out of Adam's Lake over the years. HAHA!!!

Thanks Crappie Pro, yeah I would love to see pics over the years of all those fish, I remember some years back myuself and sister and brother in law went and came away with about 140 fish. It took all night cleaning them, but we had fun. If you ever see a red and gray boat that says tlw2 on back thats me, I'm gonna put my crappie.com nickname on there but the
TLW2 HAD TO COME FIRST, My son was my fishing buddy and I lost him last year his favorite color was red so I bought an old beat up boat and as a labor of love because of one of the things that drew us closer I rebuilt it, trailer and all as a tribute to him. Still working on some areas...the pink is my daughter's fav color...lol. Have a nice day. Hope to see you soonName: boat.jpg

I'm sorry for the loss of your son. The boat looks beautiful you did an awsome job on it and I am sure he would be proud of the work you did in his honor. Thats one of greatest gift's of fishing with your loved one's. Memory's to be thought of when they are with us and when they are gone. Your story has touched me and thank you for sharing. Hope to meet you on the water one day soon. God Bless...
