Thread: Dumping structure in a State Park

How y'all think they would take it if a fella pulled up with 1/2 dozen boo buckets to dump in a State Park lake that was totally void of structure? I'm wanting to try it, but scared to ask, cause they might tell me "no" before they're outta the boat.

Thinking I should just show up one night around 10ish and let em sink.

What they don't know...

Well me and my dad are waiting for cold, rainy, nobodys on the water days this Fall and Winter to sink some brush ourselves and I'd almost take the husky to the lake and do what those G&F guys won't. I don't even know if we will mess with the whole buckets thing since we done that and NEVER, caught one single fish off them, had PVC and all on about 6 we dropped in the same area, bout 18' water at the mouth of a well known crappie cove??
I think we are going to eliminate some of dads privit hedge problems and what we can't load in the boat we will load on the trailer and just use 2 trucks to take it all down to the lake for deposit. As far as getting it to stand up if it's got all those limbs on it you'd think it would stand up like /> off bottom anyways. Somebody said privit hedge might be too thick but I plan on fishing above it, not down in it.
Yeah, I'd get a buddy to help you and leave the poles in the truck. Get to the lake about 3am and go out to sink brush. Come back to the ramp and grab the poles after that.

Yeah, its in NEA, There aint a single tree on the entire lake. If you dropped a few boo buckets, they'd have to hide there! But y'all missed the question. Is it legal if I were to get caught pulling in there with the boo sticking out of the boat?

Depends on how much you raise in that defense fund. Its a noble idea, as well as a worthy cause.

Lots of stupid rules in this World. Just be considerate of others, skiers, swimmers, ect. and it shouldn't be a big deal. I'd just be a rebel and do it, it's not going to hurt anything, matter of fact it should've done been done if they are really the conservationists they say they are.
