Default And they say not biting

Didn't even catch a bream today but found a few blacks hurry for purple/char 2in curly tail sprayed with bang shad plus tipped with a pink gulp maggot. When they get that picky its game on when you find the right combo,it only took trying twenty or so different combo's which took most all morning lol

I never pay much attention here when folks say they're not biting. I see folks not catching at times fish are literally jumping in the boat. lol lol

I bit i have 2 hand full of lures laying in front of the boat and finding the key to unlock the jaws was tiresome. Had to go though several different color nibbles and gulp maggots plus several different sprays before i started catching, within a hour had 20 in the cooler before i broke the shaft on the trolling motor. What fooled me the most was bream wasn't even giving anything a second look, they would run and hide lol.

Most of the time it's not changing lots of baits , but finding right location , depth, and / or properly presenting bait. I catch my limit here on same bait most every day but location and depth may change. Other times it just takes persistance and not giving up. Most days there are fish biting somewhere , sometime each day in every body of water. Not say'n they will tear it up , some days you just have to work harder.

*lol* been lucky and haven't found any pole breakers yet,but the duckweed is getting about right for the big ones to start tearing up lures and poles.Name: 2012-04-03_11-34-34_212.jpg
