    Well I fianlly got out to Maumelle. I think it will be my new stomping grounds. Pulled cranks and had a great time. Went for about 3 hrs. 3 Crappie, 2 small bass, and 1 white. Alot better than getting skunked on Conway. The wife finally believes me that I'm actually going fishing. Thanxz for all the advice and encouragement.

    Todd Brittian catches tons of crappie at Maumelle. He guides there in the summer. He pulls cranks from his pontoon. Goes by Blackfish on this board. PM him for a trip, or advise. He's a great guy!!!

    maumelle is a great place to drag cranks. the hotter the water the better. Roger says this has been the best crappie fishing in 40yrs. On the lake. Dead sea my Backside! Goin friday cant wait!

    Nice catch use to catch some nice crappie in maumelle with my uncle fishing jigs on a small carolina rig when it would fall of the edges of the channels you'd feel the thump!
