Yall ever tried sinking privet hedge? My dads got a ton of it at his house and I told him as bushy as it was we needed to try sinking some for the crappie. I've heard you can tie a small pop bottle in the top and it, brush will stand up?? I was always afraid it wouldn't sink as well, even with a heavy weight on it? I've tried to sink stuff before but never had a whole lotta luck on it. Tried sinking food stations, PVC with holes in it filled with rabbit food, dog food, whatever should draw minnows but never seen it work that well?? Back to the privet hedge, has anyone ever done it and would it work better being so bushy?
