    Default Lake Ouachita Limit

They made me work for it but I managed to catch a limit on Ouachita this morning.

Good catch, started out nice here but wind was picking up before I quit. Guess that big old lake gets real windy.

It can get to be a handful real fast in the wind. I was fishing some pretty wind guarded areas this morning so it wasn't bad at all. It was real good this morning right after daylight then slowed down. It seemed the bite picked back up when the wind started. Guess the fish moved up in the water column with the surface getting stirred up some.

Nimrod is unusually clear this year and not real deep so wind has helped catch fish. When it slicks off and sun is out bite can be tough.

No, I was over around Crystal. I don't fish the north side of the lake very often.
