There are primative campgrounds and the the regular pay sites with water and electris with showers.

I'm a newb to the sport and would love the opportunity to chat and learn from some of you more experienced folks. I can't help much financially, but definitely don't mind helping with the legwork. Is there anything I can do to help you guys get prepared for this?

Good deal! , we always need folks to hang around after the cook outs to help clean up. I think we can find something you could help us with.

Is there anything needed beforehand? I'm in central AR but get up that way several times a month. As a matter of fact i'm planning on giving Nimrod another try this weekend, last time didn't go very well. Ive never done anything like this so no sure what is needed, but I'd be happy to help while i'm there if I can.

Good deal, I'll keep an eye on this thread and help out in any way possible. Thanks, it's been a while since trying Nimrod, but after multiple dry runs at Blue Mountain Lake it's time for something different.

So Sept 7 and 8 is the date right. I wanted to keep this post at the top so it wont get lost

I think it's sticky time for this event...One sticky for attendance and location of meet n greet and Sat night's dinner's of those who are going to be there for sure... and one sticky for the different supplies and responsibilities needed. So we will all know who's going to bring what or volunteer to do what. Nimrod? Creek? what you think... not trying to take charge just trying to give some friendly direction. I will pitch in a nice door prize to the cos. Brand new Ozark Rod and Trion Reel.:fishMy personal favorites.
