I have 9' and 10' simply because they are easier to stow away in my 16' panfisher. If I am not careful, I can get a line or two hung up in my big prop.

I fish with a jig pole and yea it's alot of fun,I also spider rig if I don't have alot of time or the fish are suspended and scattered , its great for putting fish in the boat while watching the SI graph to learn a new lake, it is alot of fun with two seats up front and your son ,daughter , wife or other fishin buddy Sittin up front with you , I use 13ft bnm black widows but I would get a better quality 14 ft rod and plan to soon , having some type of real is nice for adjusting your depth and retying after hang ups , catch em with any method you enjoy, after all you still have to find em !! And when you do take a bunch of pics and make a post on here with some info about your catch , you'll def get a pm or two with comments ,just hit the delete button and keep fishin your way !! Which is what I'm about to go do...
well said!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just went to the pst14 footers and like em fine. i put some low profile bait casters with thump release on mine. makes it easy to let line down and work fish with ur thumb if needed. they are inexpensive refurbs i got from grizzly for 25 bucks each. since i don't cast them they should last a life time, very smooth. oh, the two red ones are some 40 yr old 5000's i had laying around, not near as user friendly as the thumb releases. may get two more of the low profile thumb releases from grizzly.
