Went to the White River refuge yesterday , fished 'H" LAKE afte fishing Escroggins for a couple hrs . Wind and the Buffalo gnats had their way with us .......still culled to 21 that we kept. Vertical jiggin in 7-8 fow in brush. Culled many small ones. Wont be going back anytine soon. Just to far to drive for a day of fishing there.(230 mile round trip from Bryant) Wished i had stopped at one of the closer lakes.banghead Back to Conway for me .........I love being down there , just too far ! Happy hunting , TJ PS, did stop at a cluvert that was running under the road and caught two 5 gal buckets of 'whites' in ten mins . some were three lbs ........even broke my new wally marshall Lews rod on them with 6 lb test ! Gave them to some of the locals and headed home .
