Congrats to Team Westerburg/ 2012 Arkansas State Champions

There is not a team on the trail more deserving than Jason and his dad. They put as many hours, miles and cash in on the trail than anyone else I know and consider them good friends. They are well deserving of this title having fought extreme conditions in the tournament like the rest of us that included white caps, 4 ft. rollers, very heavy wind and even a little rain.
As far as Team Midsouth's results, we finished with a solid third place AGAIN, a few ounces behind second and less than a pound behind the state champions. Oh well, the 3rd place trophies will look good on the mantle beside the others
It was a great tournament, well ran by Crappie Master's with world class facilities and I can't wait until the National Championship comes to this lake.
Guys, we spent Thursday filming "Tips and Tecniques" for Crappie Master's Television, Friday with NBC Sports (Yes, during the tournament lol with a camera man in our boat) and Saturday with Crappie Master's TV. All of these shows will air in a month or so and I guarantee you that you will not be disappointed in the shows. The Saturday filming included the catching of our first three tournament fish on day two, two solid 1 and half pounders and the second big fish of the tournament at 2.20.

Thanks Dennis and to all!!!! We are very proud of all our Arkansas teams it was one heck of a battle and one heck of a good time!! Also congrats to the Missouri teams they kept us on our toes they weren't to far behind on there weights and all are such great teams and a special Thanks to the Rogers team for letting us have our space on our area so we could really do some searching for those BIG Dardanelle crappie! Crappie Masters puts on such a well run tournament and have it down to a tee and we really appreciate them trying to get some crappie tournaments in the state to show what great crappie lakes we have here and hopefully the camera man was able to get a few pics of the crappie we caught. Crappiepro you all did a great job this weekend making quite the comeback on day two and pm me or call me when it gets closer to the classic I may be able to clear a lot of dead water on ten-tombigge for you. Well thanks again too all and wish us luck in two weeks we will be headed to washington/Ferguson tournament it will be a tough one.
