Fished for bream yesterday and didn't catch a keeper, just alot of little ones... dono
The lake is beautiful and deep, I found water 72 foot deep.
Does anyone know of a boat ramp other than BoxHound Marina that I don't have to pay $5.00 dollars to launch plus $1.00 to park.
BoxHound is to expensive, I wish I could find a more public
ramp to use.

That's the only ramp. My suggestion is DON'T GO THERE. The owner is very unfriendly. It's not that good of a lake anyway. IMO

Yep, $5-$7 is not uncommon around here.

I tried catching some crappie on Crown last year and struggled pretty bad. I can't honestly say I've ever seen over 1 or 2 crappie come out of there.

Boxhound is the only public ramp there. Thats why the fella charges so much. He is definitely one of the rudest :censored people you'll ever meet. But hey, he's got the right, he's rich. Guy at work was catching some good crappie up there pitching a roadrunner up by the bank and reeling it back.

$6.00 is a little steep but you don't have to worry about anyone breaking into your rig.It is a clear lake.Like any other just have to learn it.Just go inside the marina and look at the pics!!!!! It is super clear water you have to fish to those conditions lite-line small roadrunner 1/32-1/16 oz. Keep it simple has some good fish in it!!!!!
