Default Fishing in the wind with buckwheat .

I fished today, man it was windy. Started real slow but improved later. I am ready for my new trolling motor I've ordered. My old one is about shot. The new 70lb Minn Kota should arrive Monday.
I caught lots of Crappie and kept a limit plus a Green Carp and 7lb whiskers , just could not find the big Crappie. After limiting out on my standard jig, I changed one over to 'Buckwheat'' (RCC's hand tied secret weapon). Still caught fish believe it or not buddy. I want to know if the jigs have a warrenty on them RCC? I missed about three bites and then noticed to hook was gone! You were worried about the wrap & the feather falling off, only the hook did.Rofl

I wish you wouldn't mention Buckwheat, the secret will get out and everyone will flood RCC with orders, we'll never get him back down here to go fishing....he'll be rolling in the "buck"wheat....good mess of crappies!

I don't know what happened. They've always held up fine with my fishing since I only average about 4 fish a month. They only thing I can figure is you wore it plumb out by catching too many fish.Rofl I tied about a dozen today. It took me 16 hours. I figure if I could charge $20 a jig, I could break even. I did tie some 1/16ths today. PM your address and I'll send you some more so at least I can say someone caught a fish on them. You need this one. It's called buckwheat II since I'm not very creative with names. By the way, it'll be the same price as the first batchRofl
