Tompkin's Bend
Let's try again. Now that I have the correct name of where I am headed, does anyone have a report (or advice) on Tompkin's Bend on Ouachita?

Great area to fish out of, although its been many years since I fished that area..

I don't fish that area of the lake very much but here is what I can tell ya. The crappie are about halfway through the spawn. Most all of the females seem to have dropped about half their eggs over the last couple of weeks. I suspect some may come back for a second round and some won't. I caught them yesterday around 10-15 feet deep in and around brush.
