I was wondering if anyone was having any luck in northeast Arkansas.I live in Walnut Ridge and have been fishing Portia Bay but its up pretty good right now.

i tried poinsett 2 day caught about 17 all about 9 inches long. fish got the lock jaw

Do you ever fish lake hogue at waldenburg?

yea sometimes for bream. never fished it fro crappie.

I fished Hogue today. Only caught around 10 with 3 big enough to keep. Last weekend was better.

I'm going to try portia bay again tomorrow.Maybe I can catch some with the water still up.I dont know of anywhere else close that has the size that I catch at portia.

I plan on tring trying Sheriy Bay later this week. Going to give the Black River a chance to settle out a little bit before I go.

Just tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Caught a few small ones. Others that I talked to, said there were good ones there. Looks like it would be good for single pole jigging.

try horner bay nice fish and lots of them fish tight to the bank with jigs blk/char.
