I'm in room 119 and won't get there until about 11:00 pm. I will try not to make too much noise and wake you.
We're heading out in the morning. See you tomorrow Bill!!
Silly boys.........fishin' is for Girls!!!!!
PRO STAFF---MEATGETTER JIGS
Should be there early afternoon
I got kicked out of my room. The Lakeshore Motel said that we could keep the food there in a walk in cooler in their old restaurant next door, but when I checked in at 8:45, they said they couldn't do it!!!. I had orher arrangements to keep the food, but when they told me they would, I canceled them!!! I told em to scratch my reservation, and a few other choice words. The girl in the office said they didnt need my money, wouldn't let me check in, and called the sheriff over it!!! (Musta been her boyfriend)!!! She made a mountain out of a mole hill after THEY lied about keeping all the food in their cooler. I had to go ice 5 coolers full pf lettuce, and frozen french fries and the steaks because they lied to me. Keep out!!! They don't deserve our business. It's closer to the good fishin from Greenville anyway. We're in a roach coach on 82. We'll do better tomorrow. ;-(
BTW, the same folks own the Cow Pen restaurant at the bridge, and they wouldn't let me keep the stuff there either. Avoid them like the plague!!!

I haven't eaten at the Cow Pen in two years....and won't go back.....ever since I found out the salsa they serve is PACE (the same stuff I can get at Piggly Wiggley!)! I thought it tasted familiar and I asked the waitress where it was made.......New York City, !!!! I haven't been back. That should be a unique and in-house signature item for what they charge....not something I can walk across the street and get for a tenth what they charge. They are overpriced and overrated. If you out of towners want some good food and a once in a lifetime dining experience head over to DOE'S Eat Place in Greenville....it's on Nelson Street and is the one and only Original. Doe Signa still cooks the steaks there himself. DON'T judge it from the exterior.....it has been featured in Bon' Appetite' magazine for it's steaks....it's wonderful. Get the hot tamales for an appetizer. You won't regret it! They are the only ones I know that can cook a steak better than myself....and I owned a steak and barbecue restaurant for 9 years!! BTW, I would rate Sherman's as the next best place to eat in Greenville. They are good also but don't have the atmosphere or ambience of a 50 yr-old establishment. Be sure to get reservations at Doe's and you can BYOB if desired.

From the ARK-LA-MISS Delta....... Crappie Paradise ! ! ! !
Yeah, and stay somewhere else besides the Lakeshore Motel if it ain't too late. They don't care about their guests needs, just your money, which I was told by them that they didn't need!!!
