    Default The black tuxedo's

Man i had a good trip today after gettin off work early. Managed a nice mess of fish trolling very fast in 7 fow. Color didnt seem to matter much. Water temp is 72 degrees. I also decided to try one of the umbrella crappie rigs today since hearing a lot about them. Well my verdict is save your money. My single jig outfished the unbrella rig by a long shot. I only caught 2 small fish on it. Jus my 2 cents.

Ran an umbrella at beaver. Last rodeo for me too. Didn't catch a fish on it. I was glad when it hung up and broke off.

    Nice fish.

Well you are right Steve, i can see that they may work long lining. I have used them to catch stripers on ouachita and i thought just might work for them crappies. Hey nimrod them cats wont leave my jigs alone. Man they are some fighting machines. Got into a 30lbet the other day fought it for 20 minutes and saw it twice at top of water but my net was too small lol. It was exciting for sure on a jig pole.
