I was asking what lake it was to see if I had any experience on it, but I guess not. Trying going to the bottom and raising your presentation 8-10 inches off the bottom in the deeper water.

Yep never fished there. Catching small ones in a reservoir usually isnt good as they are stunted IMO. However, I have found that small crappie and larger crappie in such places don always hang together. If I am catching small ones I usually change locations or depths.

Its in lodge corner not sure name. They say big ones are there. I caught about 50 but only 5 slabs. Should i keep small ones? How small of crappie do you guys keep? Ive tried other spots but the bite is much slower other locations. Will try depth change,

If there is no size limit....10in. crappie to me usually cook up better. The filets are not as thick. If it is a small reservoir like I have behind my house, they do easily overstock. Especially if there not fished alot. May be best to keep all you catch...again if there is no limit on the size.

I woud either fish shallower or fish deeper, or maybe fish cover, or not. But them little guys if scaled and fried whole, taste pretty good also. Especially if population is stunted from over-pop
