Lake Conway is very nasty right now, and also being manage very poorly by the very people that is paid to take care of it. Water was dropped 3' in two days so that the flood waters would have some place to go, then came the rain, it got muddy and rose about 5feet, now it is on the drop again. Fish are confused and the fisherman are frustrated.

Ya'll have to remember, its not Lake Conway anymore, its the Craig Campbell "Reservoir", meaning water storage and flood control.

I'm catching some of the largest bream that I've seen in twelve or more years up there, no quantities and nothing really bedded up yet.

I have learned not to get upset over things which I have no control over, especialy the weather.

Conway is unforgiven right now. High water, muddy and windy. Mother nature is protecting the spawn that is going on right now on the lake. I would highly suggest going somewhere else.
