Default Port Aransas Texas salt water trip

Well got away for a few days to the Gulf. Got on a guide boat this morning at 6 for a 12 hour trip. We went about 40 miles out, the water was pretty rough. I caught 1 nice amber jack, several big snappers, a couple of small sharks, several lane snappers and a bunch of b liners. Had a great time it was a good change of pace, boy those fish sure pull hard.

Great trip. You on a charter or a crew boat?

I went on a charter boat out of Destin last spring. It was not as fun as I expected as we caught mostly small mingo snappers on heavy tackle. Your trip sounds much better. I would like to go on one with bigger fish and lighter tackle without paying an arm & a leg! Bet that Amber Jack & Shark put up a battle.

Looks like a great trip. Went out last summer at Orange beach, Alabama. Had a great trip caught snapper, king mackeral, and trigger fish. Something I want to do more often.

Thanks. I said crew boat, but I meant party boat.
