    Default White River Oxbow Report(s)...

Went Saturday to some of the White River/Cache River Oxbows with the following report:

7 Mile lake: High with water falling. Very muddy water clarity with no action. Tried everything, shallow, deep structure, trolling. No Luck!

Dagmar (Freeway Pond): Water colored up just right. Tempature sitting steady at 59 degrees. Arrived at 3:30 p.m. fished until 6:00 p.m. Caught several 15"-17" crappie on the backside (Far east side) through the channel. Fished 12-15" deep in 4' FOW at about 6 feet off the bank where outside tops were. Very aggresive males and a few females.

Jig: Micro head on Crappie stinger (very small) white/Chart. 6lb. test line. Tight lined.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the report i almost went that direction Saturday. Glad I didn't now. White is on rise and gonna be messed up for a while. There are some other places close that are good some times when white is dirty though.

Glad you got into them I fished Clear lake saturday not far from 7 mile and only picked up a handful of fish. Water was muddy there too. Neither minnows or jigs worked.
