Thumbs up Lake Erling water level

Finaly water level on lake is about one and a half foot below pool level after looking at lake for several months at about a 6 ft drawdown . It is really scary to watch the people on plane running at high speed with thousands of huge foot eating stumps just inches below water level trust me I do not have the nerves or the luck to get away with it. Fishing has been decent crappie has been performing typical spring pattern on the bank one day off the banks next day depending on there mood of the fish spring fishermen are out by the droves churning the water Buddy, stella, (my dogs) and I have been keeping a low profile and catching respectable numbers of fish without working at it to hard.

noslab, all the fresh water and the rise have hurt my fishing. the patterns that were working for us dont seem to work now.we caught 16 on friday,2 on sat,and finally ended up with 16 on sunday afternoon. no pattern to it,just one here and there. hope the lake will hit a stand still today.maybe we can find something later this week that will work. whale
