Fishing with My Father

The fishing was slow this weekend. The best thing is that my father was with me. Him living out of state we dont get to fish as much as we used to. It didnt matter that the fish were not biting it was just good to spend some time together on 2 of Ark prettiest lakes. Thanks for the weekend dad.

That's great Billy! My mom passed away late last year and my Dad had to spend the last few years taking care of her. My Dad and I have a lot of bad water under the bridge from my teen years but we try. I would like to do a lot of fishing with him from here on out.

My dad did not fish but I had an older friend that taught me a lot about crappie fishing. All we needed was a boat and paddle and we used Kodiak fly rods for jig poles. We could fill up the ice chest. He's been gone now for several years, but I still have the great memories.

I had a great time with my Dad and Uncle last Friday on Dardanelle to. We had a triple limit together sure was fun. Alway's love to put Dad on fish when I can. If I cant I love to spend just the time with him fishing.
