Anybody been catching any on ashbaugh or portia bay. I wore them out the last 2 days on Lake Charles but didn't have enough keepers to keep any. Smallest crappie I've eren seen.

We have beendoing some intensive sampling during the last two falls to get as much info onthe crappie population in Lake Charles as we can. We are trying to figure outwhy the crappie's growth is so slow in Charles. They grow good the first yearand then growth slows way down. We hope to get that population corrected.
