Lake Conway tournament results

We had a nice turn out and met a lot of nice guys today. Eleven teams showed up for the tournament today. We had several nice stringers and a great time. Jason Westerburg and his father took 2nd place with 10 fish, weighing 20 lbs, 10 oz. They also had big fish of the tournament. Me and my partner, Ellis Parker, took 1st place with 20 lbs,11 oz. We just squeaked it out. Thanks to everybody for coming- we will be planning another one soon.

Congrats Don, you guys did a great job. I hope everything went smoothly and I hate that I was not there. If you guys that were there could comment on things that could be done better next time, or what you liked about this one, that would be great. We can really make this a go, and input from the guys fishing is the best way to make it for the fisherman. Again, congrats to first and second place teams and I look forward to hearing from ya'll and seeing everybody at the next one!

Congrat's Don, Ellis, Jim and Jason on your 1st & 2nd place finish. It was close and a fun tourney all except the Wind. An epic battle between Spider Rigging verticle jigging where Verticle jigging won out by less than an ounce. Good job everybody and congrat's to the winners. Midsouth Man it was a blast fishing with you hope to do it agian sometime. Here is a few more pics from the tourney and me and Midsouth with our four best fish we jigged up from 14 feet of water.

Tony we were vertical jigging brush piles and several of the other guys were spider rigging. I'm sure there was a few that were casting to.

Thanks Conway , gonna give it try this evening. Fished Greeson friday and caught a bunch, only 9 keepers and a bass. Lake Conway is 45 mins from me , Greeson is 1'40" .......Conway here i come !
