Good advice. Do you have any goo reference picts you can share? I totally understand what you are saying.
The only problem i have with that one is i didnt shoot it!!!!! Looks outstanding!!!

Great job!!!!. I liked the early pics that made him look wet.
The best ones I had came from a live deer pen. But lost them cause my computer did a hard drive crash and was unrecoverable. But if you get any outdoor magazines or know people that do, ask them to keep the old ones for you. Some of them have some great close ups as times. Go to Mckenzie Taxiedermy supply, they have reference photos for purchase. I dont think much of them but they are better than nothing. Or just search the magazines like I said, even at the barber shop, doctors office or wherever there is a waiting room.Quote:

Also do a Google search for Whitetail deer and then click on images only, it will filter to just photos of deer, sometimes you get some good ones to show up. Then just click on it to get it to come up, right click on it and save as whatever you want to call it and save to desk top or to a folder you create on desk top just for pictures. That way if you have a decent color printer you can print them off and tape or pin them up next to the deer while you work on it.
