I braved the conditions today. It wasn't too bad this morning when I put the boat in but it got windy quick. They were biting good before the wind set in though. I kept 15 and threw a few back. They weren't quite as deep today as they have been and the surface temp was 53 this morning. Saw temps as high as 56 this afternoon. My average fish today was bigger than the recent past. I don't know if that is because some bigger ones moved in or because I was using a different bait. Either way I ain't upset about it.

Them look like Specks or Blacks ,whatever you call them. Glad you found a good mess. You earned then in this wind.

Yep, all blacks. I don't catch many whites in the areas I fish. The whites tend to be up around the river west of Housely Point and up around Shangra-La or further west. I mostly fish the deep clear water areas of the lake with little current. I haven't caught a white in 3 straight weeks now but I ain't complaining, I can't taste the difference and they all thump a jig.
Great looking catch. Congratulations.
Nice Catch S.J. and your getting it done on a massive impoundment.
