Fuel Savings Tips for My Fellow Arkansans

I figure most of us have a Kroger store near us and if you do you know you can save quite a bit on fuel with rewards points. What you might not know is gift cards get you double points. So, if you are going to make a purchase from some place like Bass Pro or Cabelas it makes sense to buy a gift card at Kroger get the double points on your Kroger card and pay a little less for their fuel. They have an outstanding supply of gift cards at our local stores. I bought a Bass Pro card this morning and got the wife a Barnes & Noble card and also picked up a few groceries. We already had a cache of points on our card so when I left I filled up the truck and saved $10.00 on 20 gallons. Every little bit helps these days, thought you guys might find this useful.
