A co-worker of mine was mugged after leaving a tour of the Alamo. This guy was an authentic ex Navy seal. He said he refused the ringleaders request for his watch and wallet, and got a knife cut across the top of his hand for his trouble. In his words....
I just saw red. i took the knife away from the leader, and broke his arm across my knee broke collar bone in the process. Then I took out the other two. The next thing I remember, I had one guys leg braced on the curb ready to knee drop on it, and a cop with a Glock 40 in my ear, and a choke hold around my neck yelling lettem go lettem go lettem go!!!!
My buddy complied, and after a brief explanation was congratulated for his citizens arrest.
This same guy said the happiest day in his life was when the guy who had stolen his CD collection
out of his car on a night club parking lot tried to sell them back to him on the same parking lot a week later.
(He was a real music lover)
Good for your buddy. My wife used to act that way sometimes when I came home too late. Caused me to quit drinking.
