Clearing up some dirty water

I talked with Jerry and told him I wasn't quite sure how to take his comment on another thread the other day. He said people are calling him up and complaining cause I was draining the resources in a lake close to the house and i was promoting someone else's Jigs. Some people just amaze me. I asked him why would they call him and it was because we knew each other. I asked who they were and he wouldn't disclose there names.

Some on the board comment I never post where I fish and was bragging.

Here is my response. Bream limits are set a fifty in these same waters and they aren't over fished. If you have a problem with something i have said then do it like a gentleman and not run behind my back. I thought i tried to post useful information on the lakes i fish like depth of water, speed, colors, how deep I was fishing. Not always but enough that anyone around this area could take that information and put it to use. Some places I fish were disclosed to me by others and out of respect to them I don't reveal locations often and therefore instead of LIE I just don't answer. I have met and fished with several from the board and tried to help those who i meet on the water. If i fish i don't always keep a limit but if i do then i am justified by the laws set by the agfc. I keep very strict count in my boat.

I mentioned stumpsticks jigs because i fished with him that day and we caught our fish on his jigs. I also stated it was a first time for me to use hair jigs spidering. To use hair jigs spidering on a regular basis is impractical IMO as I would be retying often instead of changing skirts.

This board has a great many people that are outstanding fisherman. So instead of running around badmouthing the ones that are successful learn from them. There is information here to be gained. there are tons of people who lurk and don't contribute. Step up and be a part of it. I harbor no ill feelings toward Jerry and want to wish everyone tight lines and bent poles.

I have been on this board almost 8 years now and I have seen people get bent out of shape before just because they were not told how to wear their hat after they were told when, where, and how to fish. I have seen NIMROD and Crappie Pro chastised after all they have shared with us. These guys keep after them more than I can so I appreciate all I can get. You will not find anyone that works harder to keep the habitat up than NIMROD. But, should he tell us where every brush pile he sinks is? I am afraid there have been some people that think so.
Now I do have a problem with these guys when I see them in short pants. They have the ugliest ,knobby kness, on white bow legs I have everseen. It hurts to look at them.

LOL J.W. get out there and catch and post the heck out of em man as long as you are doing it legally, thats all you need to worry about in this site and take the Ole Pro with ya every now and then.
