Default Wonderful late winter day on the water turned bad

It started out great and then the gale force winds turned the little lake upside down! Those whitecaps were like the kind you see on the high seas. I thought we were on a episode of Deadliest Catch on the Bearing Sea !
The change of pace was good and we still managed our limits and a big Green Carp on jigs. Hope my buddy X is not sea sick.

Just now getting dryed off and walking upright..geeeesssssshhhhhhhh....I was fine until I looked across the lake and could see every stump in the valleys between the waves....I dent know there were that many stumps in arkansas....you could see the crappie suppended in air between the waves, well,,maybe not,,too much spray on my glasses to see much, I do know that I took a refresher course on the 23th psalms....and WHERE WAS THAT PREACHER when I needed him?

I still don't think it was a good idea for you to stand up to see your bobber when it pitched off the top of the waves...

Did he try to set the hook each time the bobber went down below the wave tops?

Wed is the day, temps in the 60s and wind around 10!
You all just stay home cause the days I go, noone in the state will catch a fish

The wind is not all bad, a day like this on Norfork in a stick streer and the very wet and cold lady behind me saying she was not having any fun.
I blamed her being wet and cold on the boat. ( it could never be me, right)
We now have a bigger boat.

Hey WE16 - Take it from a stick steerer. That back can get wet some times. If I am in rough water just trying to stay on top of the white cap its easy to forget the pearson in the back.
