Hemostats work well if you don't mind the metal around the eye not being painted. It gets the head painted well, and you save time not having to clean out the eyes.
Nice looking Jigs Jeff, JW I have fished with Jeff also he is a great fisherman and ties a great Jig.
I've been around for a long time, never met a bodkin, what the heck is IT?

Very good looking jigs indeed. I was about to say small drill bit and go through them one by one. When you know the depth, and color it sure don't take much to catch crappie if your around many I've come to learn that much but they do look good.
Looks like an ice pick, with a very sharp thin point. Use it to pick & pull materials as you tie you're jig. I have one that with a jar that I use to apply small amounts of glue/cement/liquid nails to the jigs.
