I need to get a quick fishing trip in tomorrow with an out of state friend. Anybody have any suggestions on place close to Bryant/Little Rock that may hold the most promise since we had all the rain? Thanks.

Gold Creek on Conway.
Thanks for the input. Sounds like Lake Conway is still Golden. I just want to show my northern friend a little southern hospitality and hopefully some southern crappie fillets.
Little maumelle, stay far away from Conway, water is dropping and the fish have a head ache and ain't bIting worth a darn. The fish on Conway hate dropping water. Stable or rising water is best on Conway.
Welcome to the home of the, boat eating, trolling motor busting, prop bending, lower unit smashing, stump filled mud hole called Lake Conway.

Went to Pierce Creek on Conway wed afternoon for a short trip before dark. managed 8 keepers out around the cypress trees near the channel. caught em about two feet deep with minnows. no bites in the shallow water up around the banks.
Maumelle is on hit. Been 3 times recently and done well in 6 FOW on jigs. Nice black crappie. Funny thing is the big ones (bout 1.5 lbs im guessing) are males.
We went to Little Maumelle and caight a total of 21 with 14 being keepers. Thanks for the advice. The yankee had a blast![]()
