Thanks , I took Supergooser today and they wore us out! I caught my 9th straight Nimrod Lake limit. We culled a bunch of 10'' to 11'' Crappie. He took home our double limit of nice fat Crappie. We caught most on my '' Nimrod Special ''. Do you make jigs? I use umbrella tubes with 1/8 oz roundheaded jigheads pushed inside of tube with a swivel in line up about 2' to avoid twist. I tightline or drag jigs never cast or spiderrig.

I have a great crappie friend in batesville were we live he is trying to teach me how to tye and paint he is a PRO at tying and catching has done it all his life started tying suggest that I start a web site not very good with comp.My wife is the computer and has set the web site up for us a long answer to your question yes we try to make our own baits leadheads of all kinds jigs, ponyheads make the tube jigs, tye jigs of all types crappie, white bass, hybrid striper. We like the minnow heads.I am learning on my home waters not quite got the movements of the crappie yet catch them one trip gone the next had a streak of 13 limits in a row have pic's.When i get alittle more knowledge would like to try other lakes.Love to fish Dardanelle. Have good friends that live their and fish it alot.Just got a jig pole today ready to try it thanks for all the advise.
